"Design a mobile-first web application for us that not only presents results but also integrates a social aspect."
Sounds simple, but it's a more intricate task than it appears...

Tom provided me with a budget and full creative freedom to outline my approach. While we established some basic guidelines, I was also encouraged to explore potential future enhancements.

To ensure we meet the audience's needs, I conducted a series of user interviews. We discussed which features they would like to see in the app and which functionalities were already provided by platforms like Strava and Garmin.

Once I gathered enough insights, I began crafting wireframes, continuously collaborating with app developers to ensure the feasibility of my ideas.

Knowing that reinventing the wheel often doesn't pay off, I also sought best practices within the industry. There's a reason many apps share similarities—recognizable patterns that users appreciate.

After wireframe approval, I applied a design layer to bring these blueprints to life.

The result is an impressive collection of over 60 designed screens, tailored for mobile, desktop, and on-site media displays. These screens cater to various users: casual visitors, registered participants, and event organizers. Every aspect was meticulously considered, from registration to payment forms, even to a news feed for athletes.

Personally, I found this project highly engaging. It allowed me to delve into users' perspectives, solve intricate puzzles, and determine what truly resonates with them. We even explored the intriguing concept of enabling supporters to track athletes in real-time.

Certainly, an experience worth revisiting!
